Web design for cafes in Glasgow
Most people looking up a cafe want three things: are you open, where are you, and what have you got. Everything else is decoration.
What the site needs to do
- The menu on the site rather than in a photograph of a laminated card, so it is readable on a phone and you can change it yourself.
- Opening hours and the address near the top, where people look first, and the same as on your Google profile.
- Photographs of your actual place. Stock coffee photography is recognisable and it costs you the thing you are selling.
- Address and map, because a good share of the searches happen from three streets away.
One I built
Coffee Works Glasgow, coffee shop in Glasgow. A Glasgow coffee shop whose menu lived on a laminated card and a Facebook post.
Live under its own name, with the menus on the site and readable on a phone rather than on a laminated card and a Facebook post.
